Bocklan Driver and location sharing

When you start a workday in Bocklan Driver, the app uses your signed-in driver account and company-assigned truck. During that active day, it sends your current precise location, location accuracy and measurement time securely to Bocklan. Location collection can continue while your screen is locked or you use another app, as permitted by your iPhone. The private pilot map shows an approximate position to authorized viewers. The native app does not store a route history or include advertising or analytics SDKs.

Your location controls

Take a break stops location collection on this phone and keeps your sign-in. End day & sign out stops collection and removes the app’s sign-in from the phone. When Bocklan receives the stop, it clears the current precise position and map marker. If the phone is offline, the last app marker expires within 90 seconds, but the last precise position may remain stored on the server until a successful stop or a later update. Your sign-in is stored in this iPhone’s secure Keychain and does not sync to another phone.

Driver map in a web browser

Authorized Service Vehicles uses email verification and your existing company truck assignment. Signing in or viewing the map does not start location sharing. When you choose Start day or Resume availability, this browser sends precise location, accuracy and measurement time to Bocklan; approved map viewers receive an approximate truck position. Take a break stops sharing and keeps you signed in. End day & sign out stops sharing and removes the sign-in from this browser. If a stop cannot reach Bocklan, the last map marker expires within 90 seconds; reconnect to confirm the stop and clear the current precise position. Your browser stores your sign-in and this tab’s active-shift identifier, not a location history. Browser location updates may pause when the screen locks or you switch apps; return to the page to reconnect.
